FAQ

We’ve answered the most common questions below. If your question is not listed, please use the contact form below to get in touch.

How long will it take to complete the repairs?

We try to complete most repairs the same day. If this is not possible, we will provide you with special transportation arrangements.

The time required to complete repairs depends on several factors, including the extent of the work and the type of vehicle. Availability of parts is also a crucial factor, especially for imported vehicles. However, we strive to complete most repairs on the same day.

How much will it cost?

The cost of repairs varies depending on whether the vehicle is domestic or imported, as well as the nature of the repairs needed. A firm price will be provided after a full diagnosis is completed, and parts availability is confirmed.

My car is running rough. Do I need a tune-up?

Not necessarily. Modern cars are equipped with sophisticated computer systems that can diagnose issues and identify which components may need attention or replacement.

Is there a charge to check out my car?

Yes, there is a standard diagnostics charge. However, this charge is waived if you approve the repairs.

Do I need an appointment for a repair?

Yes, appointments are necessary as they help us organize our daily and weekly workloads to accommodate other jobs on hand.

What credit cards do you take?

We take Visa and Master Card.

Why does my car need maintenance if it's running fine?

Scheduled maintenance is essential to keep your vehicle in optimal condition. It helps prevent potential issues and ensures that your vehicle continues to perform well. Following the manufacturer's manual and recommendations for maintenance is important.

What will happen if I don't have the repairs done right now?

While a slight delay in repairs may not cause immediate issues, it is not advisable to put off important maintenance. Neglecting maintenance can lead to more significant problems in the future, which may cost more to repair.

What Should I Do When My Check Engine Lights Come On?

A check engine light can indicate a serious issue or a minor problem. It is recommended to have it checked by a mechanic to determine the cause. Unless your mechanic confirms that the vehicle can be driven safely, it is best to address the issue promptly.

How Often Should I Have My Transmission Fluid Checked?

It is advisable to have your transmission fluid checked every 3-6 months, unless you notice any leaks under the vehicle. Refer to your vehicle's manual for the manufacturer's recommendations on transmission maintenance.

What Type of Fluid Filter Do I Need In My Transmission?

Please consult the manufacturers manual for the exact type of Fluid for your vehicle's Transmission.

Does It Really Matter If I Do Any Maintenance on My Transmission?

Scheduled maintenance of your vehicle's transmission protects your investment, helps to prevent breakdowns, and will save you on unnecessary cost for repairs in the future.
